Learning to Learn

Some time ago, I read a great article in the Harvard Business Review by Chris Argyris. “Teaching Smart People To Learn”. The core premise is that smart, highly trained professionals are defacto trained to NOT learn. And by consequence, Argyris’ practice advocated invasive challenge to destroy defences.
Yes, “invasive” and “destroy”. Not only did he write those words, I know many who worked with him …he was invasive and offensive!
